Directions to La Verna

Coming from Durban

 

After you passed the Engin Garage just after the Villiers toll gate look out for the first Vereeniging sign board, branch off toward the left and turn left at this point. Follow the road to Vereeniging. Just be careful and note that you have to turn left at the LAND ROVER garage and continue straight on towards Vereeniging. You will know when you in Vereeniging, that is once you pass the Riviera Family Resort and Hotel with Golf Course, continue pass this place which is on your left until you get to the 4 way stop. here you will turn right and go through the first set of lights keeping left your second set of lights would be at Voortrekker Rd here you must turn left. Follow this road and go through all the traffic lights and look out for the Vanderbijlpark signs follow these or just continue straight on until you see the Pick and Pay Hypermarket in Vanderbijlpark.  Follow this road and go through all the traffic lights the first set of lights will be at the Pick & Pay (You will see it on you left hand side) continue through another five sets more and go straight on for another +/- 11km until you see the Village Manor Hotel and a Zenex petrol station. Follow the road for another 2,8km and look out for the signs: Parys R42(R59), Barrage Police Station and Erina. At these signs turn left and follow the road for another 2.6km. look out for a sign Barrage Police station and Potchefstroom at this sign turn right and immediately left at the cross with the white corpus and La Verna signs.

 

Coming from Germiston

Follow the directions to the N12 toward Durban/ Kimberley. Follow this road and look out for the R59 towards Vereeniging. Follow this road for +/- 45 km and look out for the road that branch off towards Vanderbijlpark. Follow this road and go through all the traffic lights the first set of light will be at the Pick & Pay (You will see it on you left hand side) continue through another five sets more and go straight on for another +/- 11 km until you see the Village Manor Hotel and a Zenex petrol station. Follow the road for another 2,8km and look out for the signs: Parys R42(R59), Barrage Police Station and Erina. At these signs turn left and follow the road for another 2.6km. look out for a sign Barrage Police station and Potchefstroom at this sign turn right and immediately left at the cross with the white corpus and La Verna signs.

 

And from Pretoria / Johannesburg 

Follow N1 (Ben Schoeman) to Bloemfontein. Pass through the Grasmere tollgate. Follow the N1 for another +/- 36 km. Look out for exit number 9 (Vanderbijlpark / Potchefstroom) at this sign turn left. Not Vanderbijlpark/Sasolburg with this sign you will get lost. 

Follow the road for another 2,8km and turn right at Loch Vaal / Erina/ sign. Follow the road until you get to a stop street and turn right towards Parys R42. Follow the road for 2,8 km and turn left at the signs for (Barrage, Erina, Parys and Police station) . Look out for a sign Barrage Police station and Potchefstroom at this sign turn right and immediately left at the cross with the white corpus and La Verna signs.

 

So you want to come via the Golden Highway ok then here we go

Follow this road heading south toward Vanderbijlpark on the Golden Highway. Continue do not turn for Vanderbijlpark. Continue till the road comes to an end or T Junction with a dust road on the other side. At this point turn Right toward Parys on the R42 go straight on for another +/- 7 km until you see the Village Manor Hotel and a Zenex petrol station. Follow the road for another 2,8km and look out for the signs: Parys R42(R59), Barrage Police Station and Erina. At these signs turn left and follow the road for another 2.6km. look out for a sign Barrage Police station and Potchefstroom at this sign turn right and immediately left at the cross with the white corpus and La Verna signs.
